About Us
Softcase is a Waterloo Region-based rock band that formed in early 2024. Since their formation, they have quickly made a name for themselves in the local music scene, performing at festivals, headlining concert venues, such as Maxwell's and The Horseshoe Tavern, as well as playing many private events across Ontario.
The band consists of Tyler Schill (vocals, guitar), Lucas Lohrenz (guitar, bass) Caleb Dodd (bass, guitar), and Luke Collins (drums). Originally formed as a cover band, Softcase soon evolved into writing and releasing original music, with several tracks earning air time on local radio stations.
Known for their dynamic performances and high-energy stage presence. Softcase has built a loyal and growing fan base. Their shows consistently draw crowds, blending classic rock favourites with original material to create a powerful rock 'n' roll experience.

In 2024, Softcase has played notable festivals such as Kitchener Ribfest and Chickapolooza. The band members have also performed at Cambridge Ribfest, and Ridgestock hosted at Deer Ridge Golf Club in years past and were invited back in 2025
Since 2024, Softcase has played at bars such as St. Louis and the Edelweiss Tavern in Kitchener. In previous years band members have also performed at The Fixed Gear Canteen in Guelph, Descendants Bar in Kitchener, and some acoustic nights at Prohibition Warehouse in Waterloo.
In back to back years, 2024 & 2025, Softcase headlined shows at Maxwell's Concerts. In 2025 they played multiple shows at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, most recently headlining a weekend show. Softcase has traveled around Southern Ontario, making appearances headlining at places such as The Rec Room in Mississauga and Dallas Night Club in Kitchener.

Softcase has played many private shows for various clients around Southern Ontario. They have played Birthday Parties, Weddings, Holiday Parties, and More.
Softcase played at Waterloo Brewing, they also have performed at other popular breweries such as Short Finger Brewing, Schooner Street Brewing, Block Three Brewing, and Fixed Gear Brewing.
